Abstract Data

of Joplin Missouri, age 12, died. Daughter of J. M. Fields, who until a few months ago were citizens of Fairland. The remains were brought to Fairland over the M.O.& G. railroad yesterday morning, accompanied by the immediate relatives and some friends, and were conducted to the Latter Day Saints church. A number of little girl friends met the train at the depot and acted as pallbearers until the form was laid in its last resting place. Interment was made in the Fairland city cemetery. She had been sick about four weeks, first of measles and later of spinal meningitis which the skill of four physicians could not cope. Note: Did not find a stone for her in Fairland cemetery.
