aged 15, son of B. R. Freeman, living five miles east of Fairland on what is known as the Ford farm, was kicked by a mule last Saturday evening at six o'clock and died from his injuries at seven o'clock Monday evening, Sep 5th. Dr. Adams was called and did all that was within human aid to alleviate his sufferings but he never regained consciousness. His remains were laid to rest on the day following at Berry's cemetery. The family is one of our best and the community sympathizes with them in this sad misfortune. Note: Stone has: Dec 14, 1889 - Sep 5, 1904. Joseph C. Freeman, son of B. R. Freeman and M. V. Freeman.
